About Pregnancy Calculator

The Pregnancy Calculator helps you estimate your due date based on the date of your last menstrual period, ultrasound measurements, or conception date. It also provides a timeline of key pregnancy milestones and calculates how far along you are in your pregnancy.

How to Calculate Your Due Date

There are several methods to estimate your due date:

  1. Last Menstrual Period (LMP): Pregnancy normally lasts about 40 weeks from the first day of your last period. This method adds 280 days (40 weeks) to your LMP.
  2. Ultrasound Dating: Early ultrasound measurements (especially in the first trimester) can provide the most accurate due date estimation by measuring the baby's size.
  3. Conception Date: If you know your conception date, you can estimate your due date by adding 266 days (38 weeks) to that date.

Understanding Pregnancy Weeks

Pregnancy is typically divided into three trimesters:

Remember that only about 5% of women deliver on their exact due date. Most babies are born within two weeks before or after the estimated due date.
